What the English language sounded like 1,200 years ago.

The ancient epic Beowulf performed in Old English by traditional storyteller Benjamin Bagby accompanied by Anglo Saxon lyre. His performance is based on years of research into medieval English and Norse legends. Yes this is English, its amazing how much the language has evolved over 1,200 years. When I see this I feel like Iā€™m am siting around a fire with my fellow Viking warriors, in a great hall with a large flagon of mead.
